Senior Data Engineer, Snowflake and Customer Data (Remote - Latin America)

This is a contract role with a fast-growing digital agency that builds customer engagement and data solutions for large brands. The work centres on designing Snowflake environments and customer data foundations that power CRM, personalisation and audience activation. You will help clients turn fragmented customer data into segments and engagement strategies they can act on. The team values ownership and close collaboration with client and internal marketing, analytics and engineering staff.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Snowflake data models that support customer engagement, reporting and audience activation
• Build and optimise customer-level data structures for segmentation, personalisation and lifecycle marketing
• Create and maintain pipelines that sync customer data into CRM, CDP and other downstream marketing tools
• Work on identity resolution, consent handling, event tracking and customer profile unification
• Tune Snowflake performance, cost and scalability across large datasets, and uphold data quality and governance standards
• Work with CRM, CDP, analytics and marketing teams to make sure the data supports their use cases

What you need

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture, performance tuning and cost management
• Solid data modelling skills and experience designing schemas for analytics or marketing use
• Experience building production data pipelines and working with large datasets
• Familiarity with customer data concepts such as identity resolution, consent, event data and customer 360 views
• Experience with marketing or CDP tooling, or with reverse ETL into downstream platforms, is a strong plus
• Fluent English for working with international client and project teams
