Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer (Remote, Brazil)

S. Pacific Time. This is a remote role for a senior infrastructure engineer on the global infrastructure team of an AI company. The company builds training data, reinforcement learning environments and evaluations for leading AI labs, and deploys agentic AI systems for large enterprises. You will own cloud reliability and the developer platform that the engineering organization depends on, working closely with application and security teams across time zones.

What you'll do

• Operate and improve production infrastructure across GCP, AWS and Azure, leading incident response and root-cause remediation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build, Jenkins or similar tools
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate workflows with Python, Go or Shell
• Run production Kubernetes and GKE environments, covering scaling, networking, security and observability
• Design and troubleshoot cloud networking (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, WAFs) and partner on identity, secrets and access controls
• Participate in a shared global on-call rotation and mentor other engineers

What you need

• 5+ years in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or platform engineering, including hands-on ownership of production GCP environments
• Independent experience with Terraform, CI/CD tooling and production Kubernetes
• Strong cloud architecture and networking knowledge, with experience securing cloud environments
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, Shell or similar, with a focus on automating manual work
• Track record of handling complex incidents, performing root-cause analysis and communicating clearly
• Must live in Brazil and be able to work during regular hours overlapping U.S. Pacific Time, plus on-call duties
