Senior Integrations Engineer (Remote - US only)

Visa sponsorship available. A small engineering team at a logistics technology company builds data-heavy distributed systems for temperature-controlled and high-value shipments. The work centers on partner-facing integrations and data flows that help logistics teams see shipment conditions and respond to risk. You will work largely independently as a senior individual contributor on a compact integrations team.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end partner data flows, from multi-vendor ingestion and normalization through warehousing, monitoring, and on-call support.
• Build backend services and event-driven systems that process and enrich IoT sensor and shipment data.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external partner APIs, webhooks, message queues, carriers, sensors, and vendors.
• Design data models, APIs, and workflows that support shipment risk assessment and exception handling.
• Raise service reliability through testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.

What you need

• At least 5 years of backend engineering experience building scalable production systems (6 to 10 years preferred).
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript or Node.js, plus SQL, relational data modeling, NoSQL databases, and ETL pipelines.
• Production ownership of external partner integrations and data pipelines, including multi-vendor ingestion and configurable transformations.
• Experience with IoT data, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and REST or gRPC APIs.
• Logistics, supply chain, cold-chain, or shipment risk experience is a plus, as is familiarity with security and privacy requirements.
