Software Engineer, AI Data (Remote, Denmark)

A fully distributed AI and audio technology company with no office is hiring a software engineer to build the data pipelines behind its model training and next-generation AI products. The team focuses on producing large, high-quality datasets at very large scale and low cost by combining engineering, infrastructure and research. The role suits an engineer who likes working through complex problems, exploring new data sources and making AI training more efficient.

What you'll do

• Find new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines that bring them into training datasets
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems, balancing data quality, throughput and cost
• Work closely with AI scientists to improve training datasets and support new model development
• Own engineering projects from initial problem discovery through implementation and ongoing improvement

What you need

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with solid backend fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
• Experience building and operating production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous settings
• Based in Denmark, per the posted salary range
• Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition or distributed data-processing systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly GCP and Terraform
