Technical Operations Officer

A technical operations role within an insurance brokerage based in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos. The position suits an experienced insurance professional who understands how policies are placed, renewed and serviced day to day, and who enjoys keeping operational processes accurate and compliant. The organisation works on the operational side of insurance broking, so the role sits close to policy and claims workflows rather than sales. Candidates with a background in insurance, business administration or management and a interest in professional insurance qualifications will find it a good match.

What you'll do

• Administer insurance policies, including renewals and endorsements
• Handle claims processing from submission through to settlement
• Prepare regulatory filings and keep records in line with requirements
• Produce operational reports to support the team and management
• Support the technical operations function of the brokerage

What you need

• 2 to 5 years' post-NYSC experience in the technical or operations department of an insurance brokerage
• Hands-on experience in policy administration, renewals and claims handling
• Knowledge of endorsements, regulatory filings and operational reporting
• BSc or HND in Insurance, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline
• CIIN or ACII membership, or progress towards it, is an advantage
• Based close to the Lekki location is preferred
