Accounting Manager

This remote role is for an accounting manager who will own the client relationship and day-to-day accounting delivery for a client team within an outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firm. You will be the client's main point of contact, giving practical guidance while leading a team of analysts. The position suits an experienced accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting with client care, and who is keen to use modern cloud tools and improve how work gets done. The role may involve working directly with a franchise partner or being assigned from the company's core team, depending on business needs.

What you'll do

• Act as the operational lead and main point of contact for client accounting delivery
• Oversee accounting operations across multiple client accounts
• Direct and review the work of an analyst team covering A/P, A/R, payroll, bank reconciliations and adjusting entries
• Prepare and review general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Perform, analyse and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify automation and process improvements, and make sure daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met
