Applied AI Engineer (Remote - Worldwide)

A fast-growing AI research and product company is building autonomous AI agents that carry out real business work and improve from the results they produce. The role sits in the marketing engineering group and is forward-deployed into growth teams to find high-value problems and own solutions from start to finish. You will work with the company's own agent platform, current orchestration tools and frontier models, with a strong focus on making agents reliable, measurable and safe for the business to depend on.

What you'll do

• Identify problems in growth teams that are worth solving and turn vague requests into working production systems.
• Build and maintain LLM-based agents that perform real operational tasks, using agent orchestration frameworks and the company's platform.
• Design evaluations for agent quality, track where models fail, and improve reliability over time.
• Measure the impact of what you ship and report results clearly to the teams that use it.
• Integrate agents with business data and marketing systems, keeping them secure and safe to run.

What you need

• Strong Python and SQL skills, with hands-on experience using LLM APIs and agent orchestration.
• A track record of shipping production systems that other people rely on, starting from ambiguous problems.
• Experience building with LLMs beyond prototypes, including evaluating outputs and understanding failure modes.
• A habit of measuring whether what you built actually works.
• Experience with go-to-market data or marketing systems is a plus, not required.
