Business Development Intern

This remote internship is for someone who wants to build a career in business development, sales, recruitment or human resources. The work centres on finding and approaching companies that need recruitment, staffing or HR support, then guiding those prospects through to becoming clients. The organisation is a recruitment and talent outsourcing services provider. The role suits a proactive, organised self-starter who communicates confidently, enjoys researching and networking, and can work independently from home.

What you'll do

• Research and identify potential clients that may need recruitment, staffing or HR solutions
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, social media, referrals and online research
• Make outbound calls and send emails and LinkedIn messages to engage prospects
• Introduce recruitment and talent outsourcing services and follow up consistently
• Help prepare proposals, presentations and other business development materials
• Keep accurate records of leads, meetings and follow-ups, and report progress in team meetings

What you need

• OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, HR, industrial relations, mass communication or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good research, networking and lead-generation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
• Highly organised with good follow-up and time-management skills
• Able to work independently in a remote setting; prior sales or internship experience is an advantage
