Commercial Legal Counsel

This is a full-time, fully remote legal role with a technology company that operates across the world. The lawyer will advise on commercial agreements and help shape a legal function that is growing alongside a fast-moving business. The role suits an experienced commercial lawyer who has worked with technology companies, can scale contracting processes, and knows when a risk needs close attention and when practical safeguards are enough. Candidates from many countries, including Nigeria, are eligible to be considered.

What you need

• A law degree and active membership of at least one applicable bar or equivalent authorisation to practise law
• Meaningful experience advising technology companies on commercial transactions
• Experience helping a legal function, contracting programme or business process scale in a startup or high-growth setting
• Strong judgement in separating material business risk from issues that can be managed through practical guardrails
