Community Moderator (Part-time Contract - India only)

Strong home internet connection required. A global online learning company that provides technical upskilling programs to students and corporate learners is looking for a part-time external community moderator. You will support the community team in keeping a learner forum healthy, welcoming and productive. The role is fully online and suits someone who can commit to regular check-ins alongside another job.

What you'll do

• Monitor the learner forum at least twice a day, including weekends, ideally with sessions several hours apart
• Handle rule-violating posts and make sure members follow community guidelines
• Give non-technical support to students within the community
• Help the community manager with engagement ideas and occasional performance summaries
• Attend regular online meetings with the client team and respond promptly in group discussions

What you need

• Must be currently residing in India
• Good understanding of online community moderation tools such as forums, comments and content management
• Strong customer service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability and a proactive approach
• Clear written communication and the ability to escalate issues when needed
• Reliable internet connection and availability across days, evenings and weekends; prior experience with online learning platforms is a plus
