Compliance Specialist

A remote compliance role for someone who wants to shape how a digital financial products business meets its regulatory obligations. The post centres on building governance, compliance and risk programmes, keeping products aligned with anti-money laundering and money transmission rules, and overseeing customer onboarding. It suits an experienced compliance professional who enjoys combining regulatory knowledge with analytics, reporting and training, and who can work closely with product and technology teams in a fast-moving organisation.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement governance, compliance and risk programmes and policies
• Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
• Oversee KYC and customer onboarding processes
• Monitor transaction patterns and work with technology teams to flag unusual activity
• Build compliance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
• Deliver compliance training and keep up with regulatory changes

What you need

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 5 years in a similar compliance or risk role
• Strong understanding of financial compliance legislation and GRC
• Advanced knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD and EDD
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
• Experience with Google Workspace and CRM or data management tools
