Customer Care & Delivery Operations Assistant

This remote, full-time role supports the day-to-day running of an online order and delivery operation in Nigeria. The assistant will keep customers informed, help orders move smoothly from confirmation to doorstep, and keep records accurate and up to date. It suits someone organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable on the phone, who enjoys solving problems and working independently from a quiet home setup with reliable equipment and power.

What you'll do

• Contact customers to confirm orders, delivery details and payment readiness
• Keep customers updated on delivery arrangements and any delays
• Coordinate with delivery agents and follow up on delayed, failed or returned orders
• Maintain accurate order statuses, payment records and follow-up notes
• Reconcile delivery updates and flag discrepancies
• Submit daily reports on deliveries, outstanding orders and payment issues

What you need

• Strong communication, organisation and record-keeping skills
• Confidence making calls to customers and delivery agents
• Basic spreadsheet skills and willingness to learn online tools
• Reliable laptop, internet access and backup power supply
• Quiet workspace and ability to work independently
• Previous customer service, dispatch, e-commerce or administrative experience is an advantage
