Customer Care & Delivery Operations Assistant

This fully remote, full-time role is based in Nigeria and suits an organised, dependable person who enjoys keeping customers informed and making sure orders reach them. The work sits between the customer and the delivery team: following up on orders, updating delivery and payment records, and helping resolve issues as they come up. The business is a company that sells personal-care products and delivers them directly to customers. The role suits someone with customer service, dispatch, e-commerce or admin experience who works well independently and communicates clearly by phone and in writing.

What you'll do

• Call or message customers to confirm orders, delivery details and payment readiness
• Keep customers updated on delivery arrangements and delays
• Coordinate with delivery agents on pickups, delivery attempts and outcomes
• Follow up on delayed, rescheduled, unreachable or returned orders
• Update order statuses, delivery outcomes, payment records and customer notes
• Prepare end-of-day reports on deliveries, outstanding orders and payment discrepancies

What you need

• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills
• Confidence making customer and delivery-agent calls
• Basic spreadsheet skills and willingness to learn online tools
• Reliable laptop, consistent internet access, and backup power arrangement
• Comfortable handling discreet conversations about personal-care products; prior customer service or admin experience is an advantage
