Customer Service Representative - 6-Month Temporary (Remote, United States)

This is a temporary remote customer service position supporting an education scholarship program. The employer works with families and schools that take part in the program. The role is a six-month engagement with the possibility of meeting the team's needs during that period. All equipment is provided by the employer.

What you'll do

• Answer inbound calls from families and school staff about student enrollment and scholarship questions
• Look up and explain scholarship application status and funding status to callers
• Resolve caller questions on the first contact where possible and escalate when needed
• Help students complete registration so they are fully set up in the program
• Keep accurate notes and records of each interaction using standard office software

What you need

• Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across several open requests
• Prior customer service experience, ideally in phone-based support
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools
• Reliable hard-wired internet connection and a quiet, private, secure workspace at home
• Must be located in the United States
