Customer Service Representative

This role supports customers of a smart-home and connected-device company based in Victoria Island, Lagos, with a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will help people set up their products, get connected, and resolve technical questions across email, live chat and phone. It suits someone patient and organised who enjoys explaining technology in simple terms, has some customer service or help desk background, and wants to grow in a product-focused support team.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer enquiries by email, live chat and phone within response targets
• Guide customers through app setup, device pairing, Wi-Fi troubleshooting and product features
• Record support cases and manage returns, replacements and warranty claims
• Escalate technical issues with clear documentation
• Identify recurring problems, help update FAQs and share customer feedback with the product team
• Learn and support the company's smart-home product range

What you need

• 1–2 years' experience in customer service, technical support or help desk operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting, organisational and customer relationship skills
• Familiarity with iOS/Android apps, Wi-Fi, connected devices and ticketing or CRM tools
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and handle frustrated customers professionally
• Experience with smart-home, IoT, CRM tools or basic home electrics is an advantage
