Customer Service Representative

A full-time onsite customer service role in Lagos with a communications business that values a smooth customer experience across its service channels. The post suits people with several years of customer-facing experience, ideally including call centre work, who enjoy solving problems, keeping customers informed and spotting ways to improve service. Candidates with a relevant tertiary or teacher-training qualification and strong written and spoken English will feel at home in this team-based role.

What you'll do

• Handle enquiries about orders, deliveries and product availability
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues
• Provide timely order updates and communicate delays to customers
• Handle product complaints and customer escalations
• Respond promptly to live chat enquiries
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and recurring complaints

What you need

• BSc, B.Ed, HND, OND or NCE in Mass Communication, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field
• 4 to 10 years of customer service experience; call centre experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and time-management skills
• Good computer skills and familiarity with customer service software
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
