Customer Support Agent

A remote customer support role for a fintech business that helps users convert cryptocurrency into cash in their bank accounts. You would be the first point of contact for users, helping them through transactions, resolving questions and keeping their experience calm and clear. The organisation runs around the clock, so the role suits people who enjoy fast-paced work, can explain financial topics simply, and are comfortable working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

What you'll do

• Respond to user enquiries via chat, email and social media, aiming for quick first replies
• Guide users through crypto-to-bank transactions and troubleshoot technical issues
• Escalate complex technical or compliance matters to the relevant teams
• Document common issues to help build a support knowledge base
• Share user feedback with product and engineering teams
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

What you need

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Working knowledge of major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT
• Basic understanding of Nigerian banking systems
• Patience and empathy when supporting frustrated users
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
