Customer Service Representative - Parent Liaison (Remote - US only)

Pay: $18.50/hr - $19.00/hr (hourly rate). Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Shift runs 6:30am-3:00pm Arizona time. A healthcare company that runs non-surgical pediatric treatment programs is hiring a full-time remote phone-based customer service representative. You will be the main point of contact for families, while also coordinating with referring physicians and insurance companies. Training on the company's processes is provided. Pay within the range depends on relevant experience.

What you'll do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with families in a compassionate, efficient manner, managing roughly 40 to 70 calls a day across multiple queues
• Explain the evaluation appointment, treatment process and insurance steps so families know what to expect
• Enter patient registration details and schedule initial appointments, watching for scheduling conflicts or trends across clinic calendars
• Coordinate information between referring physicians, insurance companies and the company's treatment clinics
• Review cost-share amounts, co-payments and financial responsibility with families

What you need

• 1-2 years of customer service or related experience
• 1-2 years of experience using computer software and systems
• Strong phone etiquette and human relations skills
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
• Professional, clear written and spoken communication with families, providers and coworkers
• Proactive, able to learn new information quickly, and able to prioritize daily tasks with minimal supervision
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer (no visa sponsorship offered)
