Data Analyst (Remote - US only)

A fast-growing U.S. health tech company that pairs patients with expert advocates to simplify healthcare navigation is hiring a Data Analyst. The role sits alongside the Operations team and works on a multi-sided marketplace connecting patients and advocates. The analyst will turn operational and healthcare data into decisions that improve efficiency and help the business scale.

What you'll do

• Find bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the patient journey (intake, matching, active care) and advocate workflows, and propose fixes.
• Analyze advocate utilization, caseloads, and supply/demand balance to support staffing decisions ahead of growth.
• Design and maintain dashboards in Hex that automate manual reporting and give cross-functional teams self-serve access to key metrics.
• Work with engineering to keep data models clean and reliable, refining SQL and dbt transformations.
• Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical leaders, explaining the cause of trends and the action to take.
• Wrangle structured and semi-structured data, including nested JSON and healthcare operations data.

What you need

• 3+ years of data analytics experience, ideally including healthcare operations (health tech, provider, payer, or care delivery).
• Understanding of care operations such as intake, scheduling, caseloads, and SLAs.
• Advanced SQL skills, with experience in a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake.
• Experience building interactive dashboards; Hex or a similar notebook-based BI tool is preferred, and Looker, Tableau, or Metabase is valuable.
• Comfort cleaning messy data and parsing nested JSON; ability to use AI tools for analysis while verifying their output.
• Must be based in the United States.
