Founding Infrastructure Engineer (Visa Sponsorship - San Francisco, USA)

Visa sponsorship available. US-based candidates with a concrete relocation plan may also be considered. This is the first infrastructure hire at an early-stage B2B software company. You will own the platform behind an agentic integration product, working directly with the founders to set up the foundations of a future infrastructure team. The role offers a clear path into a leadership position as the team grows.

What you'll do

• Build and run a durable integration runtime with sandboxed execution and self-healing behavior.
• Develop infrastructure that lets coding agents write, test, and deploy integration code into production.
• Design observability across integrations and agents, covering logs, metrics and tracing.
• Build and maintain a single-tenant, self-hostable deployment option.
• Set engineering standards for future infrastructure hires and take part in hiring and team leadership.
• Own the infrastructure and platform area end to end, shipping and debugging production systems.

What you need

• 3 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years at fast-paced, high-growth startups.
• Completed or in-progress degree in engineering, computer science or a quantitative field from a strong technical university.
• Hands-on experience owning and scaling production cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience operating and debugging Kubernetes; familiarity with AWS, Docker, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing production observability across logs, metrics and tracing.
• Effective use of AI coding agents while maintaining production-quality software.
