Core Systems Engineer (Visa Sponsorship - Munich, Germany)

Visa sponsorship available. An early-stage fintech company is building trading technology that aims to make sophisticated trading more accessible. You will help build the core infrastructure that trading workflows depend on, with a focus on reliability and performance. The work centres on correctness-critical financial systems where mistakes carry real cost.

What you'll do

• Build and improve order-handling systems, risk rules and ledger infrastructure.
• Scale low-latency systems so they perform reliably under production load.
• Apply systems engineering practices to correctness-critical financial workflows.
• Design for correctness, observability and safe failure modes across the platform.

What you need

• At least 8 years of systems engineering experience with strong software fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Rust, or strong C++ skills (experience with both is a plus).
• Hands-on experience building low-latency, performance-sensitive or correctness-critical systems beyond web or CRUD backends.
• Background in trading, payments, exchanges or fintech is a plus; experience with order management, risk engines or ledgers is valued.
• Ability to work from the Munich office as the primary location.
