Founding Product Designer (Visa Sponsorship - San Francisco, United States)

An early-stage company building an AI-powered developer platform for enterprise integrations is hiring its first product designer. You will own the design function from the ground up, working alongside product leadership to shape both how developers and AI coding agents create integrations and the runtime environment where those integrations operate. The role is hands-on: you will design the experiences and also build and ship the production frontend yourself.

What you'll do

• Design interfaces where developers and coding agents collaborate to build enterprise integrations.
• Design workflows for deployments, runtime behavior, observability, and logs.
• Build and ship production frontend code in React and TypeScript without relying on engineering handoffs.
• Create the product's visual language, component system, and interaction patterns.
• Work with product leadership on product direction and design decisions.

What you need

• One to five years of product design experience with shipped work that shows strong craft, visual hierarchy, and interaction design.
• Proficiency implementing production frontend code in React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing technical B2B SaaS, developer tools, or AI-powered products, including dense workflows and human-agent interaction patterns.
• A portfolio showing shipped product work and evidence of design systems or product-wide design standards.
• Working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, or comparable design and prototyping tools.
• Comfort working directly with leadership in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. Experience with observability or developer platform interfaces is a plus.
