Global Investigator - Triage (Remote - EMEA)

This is a triage investigator seat at a blockchain analytics company that supports public and private sector agencies in tracing illicit crypto activity and building cases. The role sits at the front of a fast-moving pipeline that turns victim complaints into asset freezes, takedowns, recovery handoffs and victim notifications. The team pairs newer analysts with experienced crypto tracers, and the role is designed to build deep blockchain investigation skills over time.

What you'll do

• Review and validate a high volume of complaint dispositions each week, deciding whether each case should be frozen, escalated, handed off for recovery, drafted for legal process, notified to victims, or closed.
• Check outputs from an AI-driven investigation platform and catch errors such as false positives, wrongly merged scam networks and misclassified scam patterns before they move downstream.
• Enrich complaint records using a range of commercial data sources.
• Keep clean shift handoffs so time-sensitive leads are not lost when colleagues in other regions go offline.
• Take part in a weekly on-call rotation for urgent matters such as hacks and law-enforcement support, with occasional weekend coverage.

What you need

• One to three years of investigative or analytical experience in the private or public sector.
• Daily comfort using AI tools as a working aid, with the judgment to spot when they are wrong.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Interest in learning blockchain analysis and crypto-enabled crime patterns.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quarter to quarter.
• Must be based in the EMEA region, as the role provides EMEA-hours coverage.
