Global Payroll Analyst (Remote - EMEA)

Candidates must be based within the EMEA region and authorized to work where they live. Work from home is permanent. A fast-growing global employment platform that helps companies hire, pay and support staff across more than 60 countries. The company runs a fully distributed model with no central office and relies on asynchronous, written-first collaboration. This fixed-term role sits within its global payroll team and focuses on data accuracy, compliance and process improvement across multi-country payroll operations.

What you'll do

• Collect and analyze multi-country payroll data to support accurate processing, reporting and decision-making.
• Validate payroll inputs and outputs and resolve discrepancies involving employee records, benefits, taxes, deductions and payments.
• Support payroll processing and help ensure country-level payroll and tax compliance.
• Run regular payroll audits and reconcile payroll records with general-ledger accounts.
• Investigate trends and root causes, then recommend practical improvements to accuracy, controls and efficiency.
• Coordinate payroll data exchange with external providers and cross-functional partners, and document processes so improvements are repeatable.

What you need

• At least 3 years of experience in payroll analysis or a related payroll or finance role.
• Hands-on multi-country payroll experience and a solid understanding of payroll tax and compliance.
• Strong experience analyzing large datasets, investigating discrepancies and producing actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables and efficient data manipulation.
• Familiarity with payroll software, accounting concepts and basic data-transformation tools.
• Fluent English, with clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in the EMEA region, with a reliable home internet connection.
