HR Assistant

This is an entry-level HR role in Nasarawa State with a mining and processing business working in the lithium sector. The post suits a recent graduate or early-career HR professional who wants hands-on experience across recruitment, staff records, welfare and day-to-day HR administration in an industrial setting. What you'll do

• Support recruitment, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling and onboarding
• Maintain employee files, records and HR databases
• Assist with attendance tracking, leave management and basic payroll documentation
• Help coordinate training, meetings and staff activities
• Handle employee enquiries, escalating issues where needed
• Support HR policies, procedures and welfare and disciplinary documentation

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Relations or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of HR practices and Nigerian labour laws
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
