HR Business Partner (HRBP)

This onsite role in Lagos is for an experienced HR professional who will work alongside management to support day-to-day business operations. It sits within a transport and logistics business and suits someone who understands the sector's workforce needs and enjoys combining people management with strategic planning. The post covers workforce planning, employee relations, compliance and talent development, so it suits an HR specialist who is comfortable advising leaders and guiding teams through change.

What you'll do

• Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee engagement
• Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
• Support workforce planning, payroll coordination and HR reporting
• Drive employee retention, development and organisational effectiveness

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Several years of relevant HR experience within the transport or logistics industry
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
