HR Officer

This is a full-time, on-site HR Officer role in Surulere, Lagos, with a logistics and transportation business. The post covers the full range of people operations, from hiring and onboarding through to records, payroll support, employee relations and staff development, with a focus on keeping the team compliant with Nigerian labour law. It suits an HR professional who enjoys hands-on generalist work, has some experience in a fast-moving operational environment, and wants to help shape how a growing workforce is managed and supported.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
• Maintain employee records and the HR database
• Support attendance, leave and payroll processes
• Implement HR policies and the code of conduct
• Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters
• Support training, performance appraisal and workforce planning

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of HR experience
• Logistics experience is an advantage
• CIPM, HRCI or SHRM certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law
• Proficient in MS Office and HR tools
