HSE Audits & Training Engineer

An onsite health, safety and environment role based in Port Harcourt or Lagos, suited to an experienced HSE professional with a background in engineering or the sciences. The organisation works in an industrial setting where safety procedures, audits and staff training are central to daily operations. The position suits someone who enjoys checking that processes are followed, learning from incidents, and helping teams improve. Strong written reporting, data handling and a methodical, problem-solving approach are valued. Applicants should be resident in Nigeria.

What you'll do

• Carry out HSE audits and inspections and track follow-up actions
• Deliver and maintain HSE training in line with company rules
• Record and review incidents and anomalies, and report findings
• Support investigations and procedure development
• Maintain HSE databases and reporting tools
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance

What you need

• BSc or HND in Engineering or a science discipline
• At least 5 years of HSE experience, including oil and gas operational exposure
• Knowledge of HSE training rules and incident reporting
• Strong Microsoft Office, database and Synergi skills
• Excellent English and communication skills
• Nigerian resident or citizen eligibility
