Human Resources Business Partner

A remote HR role supporting a diverse, geographically dispersed group of employees and leaders across multiple locations and client groups. The position can take an internal HR business partner, HR generalist, or client-facing consulting shape depending on business needs. It suits an experienced HR professional who enjoys blending strategic partnership with employee relations, HR operations and hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced, multi-state setting. Business travel is minimal.

What you'll do

• Act as a trusted HR partner to managers, employees and client leaders across several locations, business units or accounts
• Advise on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation and workplace issues, escalating complex matters as needed
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, benefits support and HR compliance
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across multi-state environments
• Work with payroll, benefits and talent acquisition teams to deliver a smooth employee experience
• Manage or support investigations, documentation, corrective action and resolution of concerns

What you need

• At least seven years of progressive HR experience in generalist, HRBP, client service or consulting roles
• SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification
• Experience supporting dispersed employees, multiple locations and/or multiple clients
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR best practice
• Prior experience in government contracting, including knowledge of the Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon Act
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office 365
