Human Resources Intern

A remote, part-time internship in the human resources team of an Indigenous-led nonprofit working on human rights. The role is a three-month placement of about 15 hours a week, working alongside a small HR team on recruitment, onboarding and staff engagement. It suits someone organised and keen to learn, who is interested in how HR supports a mission-driven organisation. Participants receive monthly mentorship and a certificate of completion at the end of the placement.

What you'll do

• Support internal communications such as staff emails, one-page guides and FAQs
• Assist recruitment through candidate communications, resume review and shortlisting
• Support onboarding follow-ups and staff engagement activities
• Help draft individual development plans
• Work closely with the HR Coordinator and HR Manager

What you need

• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
• An interest in nonprofit human resources
• Fluency in English
• Spanish language skills highly desirable
