Human Resources Manager

A hybrid, largely remote leadership role overseeing people operations for a farming and production business operating across several sites and offices in Nigeria. The post suits an experienced HR professional who enjoys combining hands-on people administration with workforce planning, staff welfare and compliance. Strong documentation habits, confidence handling sensitive employee matters, and willingness to travel to company sites are important. Candidates with agricultural or multi-location experience will find the role a good fit.

What you'll do

• Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment, interviews and onboarding
• Develop and implement HR policies and oversee attendance, leave and staff movements
• Coordinate performance reviews, training and staff development
• Manage grievances, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution
• Oversee HR administration for permanent, temporary and casual staff, including exits and clearance
• Prepare regular reports on staffing, turnover and unresolved HR matters

What you need

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant HR experience including core HR processes
• Experience managing employees across multiple locations
• Strong communication, documentation, conflict-resolution and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently, use digital HR tools and travel to sites
• CIPM membership or a relevant professional qualification is an advantage
