Human Resources Manager

This is a remote HR leadership role for someone who will build consistent people systems across a multi-site farming and production business. The post covers recruitment, employee administration, performance, staff welfare and accountability, and the role reports to the operations lead. It suits an experienced HR professional who is organised, discreet and comfortable documenting decisions carefully. Regular travel to company sites is part of the role, so candidates should be ready to engage with staff in person across different locations.

What you'll do

• Lead recruitment, interviews and onboarding alongside departmental and site leads
• Maintain job descriptions, employment documents and confidential personnel records
• Develop practical HR policies and communicate them clearly to staff
• Track attendance, leave, probation and staff movements across locations
• Coordinate performance reviews and support managers on performance gaps
• Handle grievances and disciplinary matters fairly, with proper documentation

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• At least three years of HR experience covering core HR processes
• Experience managing staff across multiple locations
• Strong communication, documentation, conflict-resolution and organisational skills
• Able to work independently, use digital HR tools and travel to company sites
• CIPM membership or a relevant professional qualification is an advantage
