IT & Systems Administrator

This hybrid role in Abuja is for an IT and systems administrator who will keep computers, devices, cloud storage, software and network systems running smoothly for a media organisation. The work combines day-to-day technical support with writing clear documentation and building practical solutions that make everyday workflows easier. It suits an experienced IT professional with a solid grounding in infrastructure, cloud administration and cybersecurity, who enjoys solving problems and supporting colleagues. The role follows a hybrid pattern, with time both on-site and remote, and includes a probationary period.

What you'll do

• Maintain and manage company computers, devices, software and network systems
• Manage cloud storage and cloud-based (SaaS) tools, including licences
• Provide prompt technical support to staff
• Administer Google Workspace, including user management, permissions and security settings
• Develop IT documentation such as guides, FAQs and SOPs
• Implement custom solutions that streamline workflows

What you need

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in IT or systems administration
• Google Workspace / Google Drive administration experience
• Networking basics: IP, DNS, routers, Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and identity/access management
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS and mobile devices
