IT and Web Systems Administrator (Remote, Kenya)

Pay: $10/hr - $10/hr (hourly rate). A US-based healthcare practice is hiring a remote administrator to keep its IT infrastructure, cloud office tools, website and communication systems running securely and reliably. The role combines systems administration, light web development, platform administration, vendor coordination and security work. Because the organization handles protected health information, HIPAA compliance and a security-first mindset are essential.

What you'll do

• Manage user accounts, permissions, multifactor authentication, email and system access controls, including onboarding and offboarding of staff across multiple platforms
• Administer the organization's Zoho suite and cloud tools, building forms, workflows, automations and integrations
• Maintain the company website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, forms and third-party integrations
• Manage phone system accounts, call routing and voicemail, and coordinate with vendor support when needed
• Support approved AI tools and healthcare practice systems, and keep vendor subscriptions, credentials and recovery records organized and documented
• Monitor for suspicious activity and phishing, and coordinate backups and incident response with vendors or specialists

What you need

• At least 2 years of experience in IT systems administration, website maintenance or a comparable technical support role
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, plus hosting and DNS troubleshooting
• Experience with Zoho or a comparable cloud operations platform, and with a VoIP/communications platform such as RingCentral
• Solid understanding of access management, MFA, phishing prevention, backups and general cybersecurity practices
• Experience working with remote or international teams, and strong documentation and organizational skills
• Reliable high-speed internet and a professional, secure home workspace
• Healthcare IT experience, HIPAA knowledge and EHR troubleshooting are preferred
