A recruitment firm is hiring on behalf of a seed-stage logistics technology startup in Europe that moves vehicles from pickup to delivery using an AI-powered platform connecting car dealers, vehicle compounds and carriers. The company is focused on premium, five-star customer service and is growing its operations team quickly. This junior role suits someone who enjoys phone-based work and wants to build responsibilities as the company scales.
What you'll do
- Coordinate car transports end to end, from pickup to delivery, across dealers, compounds, drivers and carriers
- Monitor active transports and act quickly to resolve delays and issues
- Handle customer calls in English and Portuguese, keeping customers updated throughout each transport
- Keep carriers, customers and partners aligned so every handover runs smoothly
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date order and transport data in the company's transport management platform
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider operations team
What you need
- Fluent spoken and written English and fluent Portuguese
- Based in Africa or Europe and within 2 hours of CET, with availability for CET working hours split between morning and afternoon
- Comfortable spending much of the day on phone calls and calm under pressure
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive about spotting and fixing problems
- Background in customer support, sales, or hands-on coordination (travel, booking, admin, or client relations) is a plus
