Outbound Sales Development Representative (Remote, South Africa)

S. business hours. A recruitment firm is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing marketing agency that serves the home services industry. The role is a builder position: you create your own prospect lists and run outbound campaigns from scratch rather than following up on inbound leads. Success is measured by qualified meetings booked for the closing team and a healthy sales pipeline.

What you'll do

• Run high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, cold emails and LinkedIn outreach
• Identify and engage decision-makers at target companies and build your own prospect lists
• Book qualified meetings and hand them off smoothly to Account Executives
• Handle objections and gatekeepers, and test new scripts and messaging to improve conversion
• Keep CRM records, pipeline stages and activity logs accurate, and report daily and weekly outreach results
• Work toward personal quota and track KPIs such as meetings booked, show-up rate and conversion rate

What you need

• Proven experience as an SDR, BDR, appointment setter or outbound sales representative
• Track record of meeting or exceeding outbound sales targets, with measurable results (meetings booked, show-up rates, call volume)
• Hands-on experience with cold calling, cold emailing and LinkedIn outreach
• Experience managing pipelines in a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot
• Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to work independently during U.S. business hours
• Based in South Africa (the posting is limited to this location)
