Procurement Officer

A full-time procurement role based onsite in Lagos, suited to a dependable professional who enjoys keeping materials, stock and deliveries running smoothly. The post sits within a furniture and interiors manufacturing business and blends purchasing with inventory control and logistics. It would suit someone with a few years of procurement, stores or supply chain experience who is organised, detail-driven and comfortable working with spreadsheets and ERP systems. Prior experience in manufacturing, furniture or construction is an advantage.

What you'll do

• Process purchase orders and check materials against specifications, quantities, prices and delivery timelines
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up to ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect incoming deliveries, maintain inventory records and reconcile physical stock with ERP records
• Manage authorised material issuance and keep accurate tracking records
• Coordinate material movement, finished-goods dispatch, transport and customer deliveries
• Monitor stock levels, wastage and discrepancies, escalating issues as needed and prepare procurement, inventory and logistics reports

What you need

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory management or supply chain operations
• Manufacturing, furniture or construction experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organisational, communication and record-keeping skills
• High integrity, accountability, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
