Product Manager - Electricity Market Products (Remote - Worldwide)

An energy-focused company is hiring a product manager to own market-facing products in electricity markets in the U.S. Midwest and Ontario. The role centers on launching two upcoming market products and then guiding their roadmap, metrics and business case. You will work closely with market experts, engineering leads and stakeholders across the organization.

What you'll do

• Own the product vision, roadmap, success criteria and metrics for the upcoming Midwest and Ontario market launches.
• Work with market leaders to set and prioritize outcomes that drive the largest business impact, and report results to stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering managers and tech leads on product requirements and day-to-day delivery of ongoing workstreams.
• Build and propose investment theses based on user needs, market mechanics and business goals.
• Test hypotheses about market rules, user behavior and system performance.
• Make sure products are operationally viable, well supported and aligned with business and regulatory strategy.

What you need

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a product manager or in a role building products.
• Ability to read market rules and tariffs directly and reason through complex calculations such as baselines and performance measures. Energy experience is a plus, but you must become fluent quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical judgment, comfortable reviewing specifications and working in depth with engineers.
• Self-directed, able to manage and prioritize several workstreams at once.
• Able to turn qualitative and quantitative information into a clear business case and actionable product decisions.
