Product Manager, Internal Platform Administration & Governance (Remote - Worldwide)

A fast-growing developer platform company offering a complete backend toolkit for building applications, with an open-source-first culture and a fully distributed team across 60+ countries. This product manager role owns how companies run the platform as their internal development environment, so that teams can start building quickly while IT, security and finance keep oversight. The focus is on turning early company rollouts into a repeatable, self-service experience.

What you'll do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for internal adoption, from a company's first IT-approved rollout to use across teams and business units.
• Make getting started self-service, including project creation, an internal developer portal and agent-driven workflows, without needing a ticket for each project.
• Give companies one consolidated view of their projects, owners and costs, and design how ownership, delegated access and boundaries work as usage grows.
• Work with platform, IT, security and finance teams to build practical identity, policy, audit and spend controls that do not slow builders down.
• Define the path from experiment to production, including ownership, access and guardrails that tighten as an application becomes business-critical.
• Define success metrics, instrument them end to end and use the data to decide what to build next.

What you need

• 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools, infrastructure or internal developer platforms.
• Track record of building self-service products that developers enjoy and that platform or IT teams trust.
• Solid understanding of identity, permissions, organizational boundaries and usage attribution.
• Comfort with experimentation and data analysis, linking easier adoption to sustained product use.
• A clear point of view on how AI agents change who can build software inside a company.
• Strong written communication skills and comfort working asynchronously across time zones.
