Quality Supervisor

A permanent quality supervisory role at a food manufacturing business in Ogun State, working on a factory site with shift-based production. The organisation makes fast-moving consumer goods and places strong emphasis on food safety, hygiene and product consistency. The role suits an experienced quality professional from a food science, microbiology, chemistry or biochemistry background who is comfortable leading inspectors and analysts, managing laboratory work and keeping accurate records. Candidates should be happy to work shifts, extended hours or weekends when production demands it.

What you'll do

• Supervise in-process inspections and product sampling across production stages
• Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials, packaging and finished products
• Review batch records and support finished-product release
• Conduct GMP, hygiene and sanitation audits and monitor HACCP critical control points
• Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, supporting corrective actions
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on rejects, rework and complaints

What you need

• BSc or HND in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in food or FMCG manufacturing
• At least 1 year in a quality supervisory position
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP and NAFDAC requirements
• Practical knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and willingness to work shifts, extended hours or weekends
