Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote, Germany)

A financial markets media and data company is looking for a senior engineer to own and evolve the cloud platform and continuous delivery pipeline that its product teams depend on. The stack runs entirely on AWS and is defined as code. You will work mainly as an internal platform team, so the feature teams are your customers. The role combines hands-on infrastructure work with input on the shared tooling landscape.

What you'll do

• Work closely with feature teams to understand their needs and deliver reliable platform capabilities.
• Design, build and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines covering automated builds, tests and deployments on AWS.
• Design and implement AWS infrastructure with CloudFormation and AWS CDK in TypeScript.
• Operate and evolve artifact and container image services such as AWS CodeArtifact and ECR.
• Build and improve local developer tooling to raise developer experience across engineering teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and the selection of shared tooling.

What you need

• Senior-level experience designing platform and CI/CD strategies, with the ability to make sound technical decisions and work independently.
• Solid experience with AWS, especially ECS, VPC, AWS WAF, CloudFront and CloudFormation.
• Good working knowledge of TypeScript; basic knowledge of Java.
• Experience with AWS CDK in TypeScript, Gradle, Git, and CodeArtifact/ECR is a plus.
• Conversational German is required.
• Based in Germany.
