Senior Data Analyst (Remote - Latin America)

This is a senior analytics position with a talent services firm that places remote professionals from Latin America with international product companies. The role focuses on product analytics for consumer mobile apps and web/browser products, working closely with product owners to guide roadmap decisions. The successful candidate will work remotely for the client company and take ownership of analysis from question through recommendation.

What you'll do

• Own product analytics for activation, feature adoption, onboarding drop-off, engagement and retention across mobile and web products
• Serve as the main analytics partner for product owners, helping shape roadmap priorities with data
• Design and run A/B tests and experiments end to end, including hypotheses, power analysis, readouts and ship recommendations
• Partner with product managers on event tracking plans and instrumentation quality checks
• Build self-serve reporting and use AI tools to automate recurring reporting
• Mentor other analysts and present findings clearly to non-technical audiences

What you need

• 5+ years of experience in product, data or related analytics, ideally with consumer mobile apps or web products
• Advanced SQL, including window functions, CTEs, complex joins and query optimization on large datasets
• Hands-on experimentation experience with A/B test design, power analysis and statistical testing
• Strong grasp of funnel and cohort analysis and event data; working knowledge of Python for analysis
• Daily use of AI assistants such as Claude in analytics workflows
• Residence in Latin America, fluent English, and at least 4 hours of overlap with US Eastern business hours
