Senior Legal Associate

A senior legal role based onsite in Lagos, covering corporate, commercial, real estate and regulatory work. The position suits an experienced Nigerian-qualified lawyer with several years of post-qualification practice who is comfortable advising on contracts, land documentation and governance matters, and who enjoys building strong working relationships with clients and other stakeholders. What you'll do

• Provide strategic legal advice across corporate, commercial, real estate, regulatory and governance matters
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal agreements
• Handle land documentation, title verification and real estate transactions
• Advise on corporate governance, legal risks and regulatory compliance
• Support dispute resolution and other legal matters
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you need

• LL.B. and B.L. qualifications with admission to practise law in Nigeria
• 7 to 10 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, real estate transactions and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, land documentation and title verification
• Sound knowledge of corporate governance, legal risk management and dispute resolution
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
