Senior Power BI Developer (Remote, Egypt)

A company running a data warehouse initiative is hiring a senior Power BI developer to own its reporting platform. The role combines hands-on dashboard and semantic model development with administration of the Power BI environment. You will work closely with business and technical teams to turn reporting needs into solutions that are easy to maintain and support the company's evolving data architecture.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and Power Query (M).
• Design and tune data models so that reports are accurate and perform well.
• Manage the Power BI environment, including workspaces, datasets, gateways and service accounts.
• Handle access, licensing, scheduled refresh failures and other platform issues.
• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security and data governance controls that meet security and audit requirements.
• Document dashboard logic, data sources, business definitions and reporting processes.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Strong command of DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling and advanced SQL with relational databases.
• Solid grasp of data warehouse concepts, star and snowflake schemas, and ETL/ELT pipelines feeding BI layers.
• Practical experience with RLS, data governance and Power BI platform administration.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
