Senior Product Data Scientist (Remote - Americas and EMEA)

A fast-growing, remote-first software company provides revenue infrastructure and analytics to app businesses, from solo developers to large engineering teams. The company processes very large purchase volumes and is looking for a senior data scientist who will work directly with Product, Engineering and Analytics to decide what gets built and how success is measured. This is a role for someone who explores data proactively, spots customer problems and opportunities, and pushes ideas into the roadmap with evidence.

What you'll do

• Explore product and customer data on your own initiative to find problems, opportunities and product bets.
• Turn ambiguous business and product questions into clear analyses, models and recommendations.
• Work with Product Managers to shape roadmaps, not only to execute on them.
• Design, build and ship production predictive and descriptive models that power customer-facing features such as lifetime value prediction.
• Define statistical approaches for experimentation, benchmarking and forecasting.
• Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, focusing on customer impact.

What you need

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience building and deploying predictive and descriptive models in production.
• Experience writing or collaborating on production-quality Python code.
• Solid grounding in statistics and experimentation; Bayesian methods are a plus.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to broad audiences, and to work comfortably with ambiguity and imperfect data.
