Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Remote - Worldwide)

The company is scaling its product carefully and values quality, ownership and collaboration. This senior engineering role owns test automation and quality for major product areas and shapes how the wider engineering team approaches testing.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks for complex product areas, with a focus on reliability and maintainability
• Create and maintain automated suites covering API, UI and integration testing
• Lead test strategy and risk analysis for major features and systems
• Embed automated testing in CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery
• Analyze coverage gaps and drive cross-team improvements to quality and testing efficiency
• Mentor junior SDETs and QA team members, and review their test code and cases

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development and test automation
• Advanced skill in several programming languages and test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or RestAssured
• Strong API, UI and integration testing experience, plus solid SQL and database knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and observability platforms such as Datadog or New Relic
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work across engineering, product and quality teams
