SEO Manager (Remote - US only)

A performance marketing agency with a small, tight-knit team is hiring an SEO Manager to act as the go-to subject matter expert for organic search. You will own a portfolio of 4-6 client SEO accounts, serving as the main point of contact for SEO strategy, reporting and deliverables. The role suits someone who enjoys client work, hands-on experimentation with AI search, and turning performance data into business results.

What you'll do

• Own the strategy, execution and performance of multiple client SEO programs
• Lead recurring status and reporting calls, explaining SEO plans in clear, plain language
• Build time-bound tactical roadmaps, including topic clusters, pillar pages, internal linking and schema
• Test and refine optimization approaches for AI-driven search and LLM-based discovery
• Analyze performance data in Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO platforms to show impact on client revenue and goals
• Work with measurement, paid media and creative teammates to deliver integrated campaigns

What you need

• At least 3 years of relevant SEO or marketing experience (5+ years preferred), including at least 2 years at a performance marketing agency
• Hands-on, documented experience optimizing for AI search and generative engines
• Strong command of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog
• Experience building content strategies and detailed briefs from keyword, audience and competitor research
• Comfortable building rapport and acting as a trusted advisor to clients across multiple industries
• Must be based in the continental United States; strong project and time management skills
