Service Delivery Automation Analyst (Remote - EMEA)
A fully remote, fast-growing global HR and payroll company that helps businesses employ and pay people in dozens of countries is hiring a hands-on automation analyst for its service delivery team. You will take individual automation projects from problem definition through to build, launch and ongoing upkeep. The work centres on making multi-country payroll inputs complete, accurate and ready for processing, with a strong focus on controls because errors directly affect people's pay.
What you'll do
- Map end-to-end payroll and service processes, including how data moves between systems, where validation and calculations happen, and how deadlines and country-specific rules affect them.
- Identify repetitive tasks, manual checks and recurring issues, and assess them by volume, risk, effort and whether a solution can work across countries.
- Build and maintain workflows in tools such as n8n, Alteryx or similar, connecting payroll systems, service platforms, databases and APIs.
- Use LLMs to extract and classify information from emails and documents, with validation checks in place before any output affects payroll.
- Translate policy and payroll rules into clear, version-controlled logic with effective dates and required data fields.
- Test changes against real scenarios and exceptions, including shadow runs and parallel runs, and monitor performance after launch.
What you need
- At least 3 years of experience in operations automation, process improvement, business or process analysis, payroll operations, internal tooling or a similar field.
- Proven experience taking automations into production with tools such as n8n, Alteryx, Make, Zapier or Power Automate, and keeping them running.
- Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to combine and validate data from multiple sources.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks and system integrations.
- Practical experience using LLMs to turn unstructured text or documents into usable data, and judgement about when a simple rule is the better option.
- Currently based in the EMEA region, with the right to work where you live. Strong written English for a distributed team.
