Social Media Manager

This is a volunteer, part-time remote role with an early-stage, self-funded startup that is building its brand online. You would look after the company's presence on LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, shape its social media strategy and test organic growth ideas, working closely with the founder and leadership team. The role runs for at least six months at around 10 hours a week and works asynchronously from anywhere in the world. It suits an creative social media professional who enjoys fast-moving startup work and wants to build a portfolio and professional references.

What you'll do

• Manage content across LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
• Build and run a content calendar with engaging post ideas
• Create graphics and other content using Canva and AI content tools
• Prepare monthly performance reports with top-performing content and recommendations
• Help shape the social media strategy and test organic growth tactics
• Collaborate closely with the founder and leadership team

What you need

• At least 2 years of social media management experience
• Proficiency with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer or Notion
• Graphic design skills in Canva
• Experience using AI content tools for ideas and scripts
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week for at least 6 months
• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously
