A social media role with a nonprofit working to widen access to technology education and opportunities for young people across Africa. The position is fully remote and suits an experienced social media professional who can tell compelling stories, grow an audience and report on results. The successful candidate would lead online presence and community engagement across several platforms, combining creative content production with analytics and campaign management.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage social media strategies and content calendars across major platforms
- Create and publish videos, graphics, carousels and written posts
- Promote scholarships, programmes, webinars and masterclasses
- Share stories of learners, trainees and alumni
- Manage community engagement and cover live events
- Track performance, prepare reports and manage paid campaigns when budgets allow
